Touch Switch Circuit
Touch Switch Circuit – CD4011 NE555
Touch switch circuit is a circuit used to control electronic devices simply by touching a sensor. Here below are two touch switch circuits that can be used to control your electronic equipment such as a touch light switch. Both are simple touch switch project that comes in the kit are available in the market. So, you do not have to bother anymore to create a touch switch PCB.

Touch Switch Circuit Diagram – CD4011
This circuit is very simple and easily constructed using an IC CD4011, where two plates of the sensor are connected as a flip-flop on pins 9 and 13 of the IC 4011. This touch switch circuit uses only eight components.
Pin 9 and 13 of the IC is «SET» and «RESET» contacts from the flip-flop. This IC CMOS type requires a very low current on the gate to control it. This high-sensitivity circuit made possible a touch operation. Both gates are held at logic state «1» continuously by using two resistors R1 and R3 that connect them to the positive supply rail. This resistor has a resistance that is greater than 10 Mohm. If now we touched a set of contact resistance of skin to close the circuit between the gate and the corresponding negative supply rail.
This kin resistance for small areas of skin is usually much lower than 10 Mohm and effectively brought to the gate logic state «0» which makes changing the condition of the flip-flop. For any given state of the FLIP-flop is set in accordance touching contacts would make a circuit to reverse the country’s balance and force the switch to switch. It used as a relay switch is driven by a transistor which is driven from the out put of the flip-flop.source

With this touch switch circuit, you can turn on almost all electrical devices and switches automatically turn off within a short time later. Since you’ll notice you can determine how much subsequently – less than a second to more than one minute – just by changing the value of one resistor. source
